New Delhi: Two girls, both from Uttar Pradesh, have got the perfect score in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 exams, securing 100 percent.
Tanya Singh, an 18-year-old from Bulandshahr, and Yuvakshi Vij from Noida have scored 500 out of 500.
Tanya, a student of DPS Bulandshahr, has scored 100 each in the best of five subjects — English Core, History, Geography, Economics and Hindustani Music/Vocal. She scored 98 out of 100 in Political Science.
“It’s my childhood dream to become an IAS officer and that’s what I want to work towards,” Tanya told The Quint. She wants to pursue History in college.
The CBSE has not released any toppers’ list this time.
Three other girls — Deepika Bansal, Radhika Agarwal and Bhumika Gupta — have scored 499 out of 500. Ashima, from Ghaziabad, has scored 497 out of 500.
