Bhubaneswar: Result of the annual Class X examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), would be announced at 4 pm on Tuesday.
Students can know their results on the CBSE websites www.cbseresults.nic.in andwww.cbse.nic.in . Besides, the results would also be available on www.results.nic.in
The school authorities would know the detailed information on the results including the overall pass percentage.
About 16,38,428 students across the country had appeared for CBSE Class X examination this year at 4453 centres.
In the Bhubaneswar zone comprising Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh, 77,708 students of 927 schools had appeared for the examination in 228 centres.
From Odisha, more than 18,000 students had appeared for the examination, sources in the CBSE regional office in Bhubaneswar said.
The academicians and educationists believe that there pass percentage in Class X examination would increase this year due to change in examination pattern and passing criteria.
In a circular issued to all CBSE-affiliated schools across the country, the Board has decided to implement overall 33% pass mark criteria for this batch of students who do not need to secure 33% separately in board examination and internal assessments.
