New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Fit India Mission have joined hands to begin live fitness classes for school students from April 15. The classes will have five exercise capsules of five minutes each.
The capsules designed by Fit India Mission will freshen up the students during breaks between their regular online classes, CBSE said in a circular to schools.
Since schools have started online classes amid the countrywide lockdown, therefore it is equally important for students to invest in their overall physical, emotional and mental well-being at home, the circular added.
Moreover, the Board claimed that the fitness sessions will engage both students and their parents. The video capsules can be easily downloaded and shared later among the family.
