New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may hold compartment examinations for the students of Classes X and XII in September.
Schools and students have also been informed about this. Schools have also issued forms for compartment examinations in many states.
The Central board has issued letters regarding the compartment examinations to the schools under it. Earlier, it had sought suggestions from students and parents on conducting the examination, according to a news agency.
Though most of the respondents were in favour of cancelling the examination, the board has decided to go for it. The examination dates are likely to be released next week.
It may be noted that compartment examinations are normally held in July after the results of the Board examinations are announced. But, many board examinations were cancelled and results of some examinations delayed this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
