New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams will be held twice a year from the academic year 2021-22. The Class X and XII students are now waiting for the CBSE Term 1 datesheet.
The datesheet is likely to be released on the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in around three to four days after October 9, the last date for the board to receive the complete candidates’ list.
The first term exam of the CBSE would be conducted in November-December 2021 which will only test the students on the rationalised syllabus, i.e., 50 per cent of the total syllabus that has been specified. The Term 2 exam will be held in March-April 2022.
Following the finalisation of the complete exam scheme, the guidelines for CBSE Term 1 would be sent to all stakeholders.
The Term 1 question paper will comprise multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which would also include case-based, and assertion-reasoning type MCQs, reported India Today.
The duration of each paper would be 90 minutes instead of the earlier 3 hours.
