New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all affiliated schools to conduct the practical and vocational examinations by February mid-week.
Since the vocational courses have been opted by only a small number of students, thus, the order of completing it by February mid-week. The CBSE offersabout 40 vocational courses to Class X and Class XII students. Typography and Computer Applications, Web applications, Graphics, and Officer Communication will be conducted in February as these have larger practical component and shorter theory papers.
The CBSE schools have also been directed to upload the marks on the date of the examination.
The practical exams for Class XI will be held from January 16 to February 15. If the number of students is more than 20, it will be conducted in two sessions, stated the order.
This year, the CBSE board exams will be conducted from the month of February following a Delhi High Court order.
