New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will permanently discontinue the practice of releasing merit lists for the top-scoring students in the Class X and XII exams beginning this year. The purpose of this move is to lessen the amount of “unhealthy competition” among students.
According to the Board’s official results portal, the CBSE X and XII results 2024 are expected to be announced after May 20. Students can view and download the results on the official website, results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.
This year, 39 lakh students from over 26 different nations took the tests, and they are anxiously awaiting the announcement of the results.
