CCL 2025: Catch Bollywood Celebrities Playing Cricket At Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium; Here Are All Details

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s cricket-loving fans enjoyed its favourite players dish out a heartwarming performance in the second ODI against England at Barabati Stadium on Sunday.

Next Sunday, they will be able to see some of Bollywood’s biggest celebrities in action at the Barabati Stadium, which is gearing up to stage the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2025.

Those who will be seen in action are Arjun Kapoor, Sohail Khan, Sonu Sood, Mika Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Riteish Deshmukh, Janhvi Kapoor, and many others.

Eminent film producer Boney Kapoor, owner of one of the CCL teams Bengal Tigers, has selected Barabati Stadium as its home ground for the 2025 season.

Punjab De Sher will face Bhojpuri Dabangg in the first match from 2 pm, followed by the clash between defending champions Bengal Tigers and Mumbai Heroes.

An exhibition match has also been arranged. It will feature an Odia celebrity team, led by actors Sidhant Mohapatra and Anubhab Mohanty. Former Ranji cricketers Jitu Satpathy and Pawan Agarwal will be taking part.

The event will be inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at 2 pm on February 16, in the presence of Sports minister Suryabanshi Suraj and other dignitaries.

The prize distribution ceremony will be graced by Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida at 10 pm.

Supported by Dr Pradeep Sethi and Dr Arika Bansal of Eugenix Hair Sciences, the event is being organised in partnership with the CCL Odisha Core Committee, and promises an exciting day of cricket, entertainment and glamour.

“We are excited to bring CCL to Odisha and provide fans with the unique opportunity to watch their favourite Bollywood stars play live,” CCL Odisha convenor Basudeb Bhatta.

How to buy tickets

* Physical ticket counters for CCL 2025 have been opened at Barabati Stadium from February 11.

* Additional ticket outlets will be available at key locations, including the airport, railway stations, bus stands, and hotels, ensuring easy access for fans.

* Tickets are priced at Rs 150, Rs 250, Rs 499 and Rs 1,000 and available online also.
