Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has said that the confidential character roll (CCR) is not required for the promotion of Group III employees.
“The government employees of Group III category need not submit their CCR for promotion. They will be promoted to the higher rank with the recommendation of their higher authorities,” Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy said on Thursday.
Tripathy said this after hearing the grievances of employees during the second phase of Promotion Adalat at the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell.
