Brahmagiri: The Satapada police outpost in Brahmagiri block of Puri district have started an investigation into the theft of two CCTV cameras from the Panchayat Junior College.

According to a complaint lodged by the Panchayat Junior College authorities, as per the Council of Higher Secondary Education’s directive, they had installed two CCTV cameras in the college for smooth conduct of the annual Plus II examinations starting from Thursday. But on Wednesday morning they found the two CCTV cameras are missing.

Preliminary investigation shows that some criminals barged into the college premises late on Tuesday night and stole the two CCTV cameras from room no 1 and 5 after breaking open the door.
