Cease work by Apollo Hospitals employees affects healthcare services

Bhubaneswar: Medical services were badly affected at Apollo Hospitals here on Saturday with patients at the receiving end following a cease-work agitation by the employees.

Over 200 employees and medical staff staged a dharna in front of the hospital seeking fulfillment of their demands, including salary hike and bonus.

“Despite repeated requests, the authorities did not pay any heed to our grievances. This time, we have decided to boycott work and sit on a dharna till these issues are resolved,” an agitator said.
