Nabarangpur: A minor boy was severely injured when his mobile phone exploded at Badapalia village in Jharigaan of Nabarangpur district.
The victim has been identified as Lachhman Bhunjia.
According to sources, Lachhman had connected the cellphone to a solar energy output socket to charge it on Tuesday. After sometime, the mobile phone exploded. The boy suffered grievous injuries on his face and belly.
He was rushed to the Umerkote Community Health Centre. His condition is now stated to be stable, sources said.
