Central Team Takes Stock of Corona in Jajpur District

Jajpur: A Central team arrived in Jajpur to take stock of the situation arising out of spread of coronavirus and the measures taken to control it.

The three-member team led by Dr Mahesh Waghma discussed the prevalent situation related to corona, treatment provided to corona positive patients and testing of the inmates of quarantine centres in the district with collector Ranjan Kumar Das and other senior officials.

The team members will visit the containment areas in the district and interact with health officials on new testing methods during their stay for next few days.

The team will submit their report to the State Government and the Centre after their visit. Jajpur district has reported 71 corona positive cases till date.
