Bhubaneswar: A seven-member Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) will on Thursday visit six districts of Odisha, which were severely affected by heavy rain and strong wind under the influence of the cyclonic storm Bulbul.
The team, led by Saheli Ghosh Roy, Joint Secretary Central Information Commission (CIC), Ministry of Home Affairs, has Vandana Singhal, Chief Engineer, Ministry of Power; Deena Nath, consultant, Department of Expenditure; SS Modi, Deputy Decretary, Ministry of Rural Development; Amrish Pal Singh, Superintending Engineer, Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Odisha; Virendra Singh, Director, Agriculture, Patna and Sunil Kumar, Sunil Kumar of Ministry of Road Transport, Regional Office, Bhubaneswar as other members.
The team will visit Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Jajpur districts to assess the extent of damage and submit a report to the Centre.
