Bhubaneswar: An 11-member Central team will arrive in Odisha late in the evening on Thursday to assess the damage rendered by Cyclone Fani in Puri district.
According to official sources, the team, led by the Additional Secretary, Union Home Ministry, Vivek Bharadwaj, will visit the affected areas of Puri district on Friday to assess the extent of damage and oversee the post-cyclone restoration work.
Upon its return, the team will have a meeting with Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi at the State Secretariat late in the afternoon.
