Koraput: Students, looking forward to enroll for various Under Graduate, Post-Graduate and Research programmes at the Central University of Odisha, will have to appear for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) this year.
The university has announced that the URL of the CUCET-2020 will be launched on Tuesday. Students can apply for the test by logging on the link of the CUCET-2020, available on the university’s website.
The online application will begin from March 16, 2020 and will be end on April 11, 2020. The application fee is Rs.800 for General, OBC and EWS applications and Rs.350/- for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe applicants, which is to be paid online. The University is not charging any application fee for PwD applicants.
The entrance test for various UG & PG Programmes will be conducted offline (OMR Mode) on May 23 and 24. The duration of the test will be two hours. Test for various research Programmmes will be conducted online on May 30 and 31, 2020.
The Central University of Odisha is inviting applications for 30 programmes this year. These include 2-year PG Programmes – M.A. in Odia, M.A. in English, M.A. in Hindi, M.A. in Sanskrit, M.Sc. in Anthropology, M.A. in Sociology, M.A. in Economics, M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication, M.Sc. in Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and M.Sc. in Statistics; 2-year UG Programme- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.); 5-year Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics; 3-year UG Programme- Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA); M.Phil in – Anthropology, Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, Economics, Education, Journalism & Mass Communication, Odia, Sociology and Statistics; PhD in – Anthropology, Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, Economics, Education, Journalism & Mass Communication, Odia, Sociology and Statistics.
The eligibility criteria and course details will be available on the CUO website (http://cuo.ac.in/) as well as CUCET website (https://www.cucetexam.in/).
