Bhubaneswar: The Centre has sanctioned Rs 822.62 crore for expansion and strengthening of two National Highway roads going through Odisha.
Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, in a series of tweets on Saturday, said the fund has been sanctioned for National Highway 326 and 20.

s 186.52 crore has been sanctioned for expansion of Dhaugaon to Padmari stretch of NH-326. The fund will be utilised for expansion of the 2-lane highway including the paved shoulder, Gadkari said.
Similarly, Rs 636.10 crore has been sanctioned for expansion of NH-20 going through the state. The work on NH stretch from Kuakhia to Mangalpur will be taken up with the fund. While the 2-lane stretch will be expanded to 4-lane, the single lane will be converted to 2-lane. Besides, the paved shoulder work would also be carried out, the Union Minister said.
