Bhubaneswar: Centurion University and L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS) have come together to set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies, with a focus on Quantum Computing, Blockchain, and other frontier domains.
The strategic partnership was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by LTTS Chief Technology Officer Ashish Khushu and Centurion University Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Supriya Pattnaik.
Others in the presence of leaders from both institutions Mr. Jagyan Prakash, Business Head – Embedded Engineering and IVV from L&T Technology Services Ltd., and Prof. (Dr.) Ajaya Kumar Nayak, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Prof. (Dr.) Biswajit Mishra, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Dr. (Hon) Paneesh Rao, Advisor, Dr. Sujata Chakravarty, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology from Centurion University.
Khushu said the collaboration will bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
“This partnership will empower students and faculty with opportunities to engage in real-world projects, research, and innovation, ensuring they gain first-hand exposure to cutting-edge industry practices,” Khushu said.
Prof. Pattnaik said, “Through this partnership, we reaffirm our mission to empower communities and transform lives by driving innovation, advancing skills, and fostering impactful research.”
