CEO Booked For Allegedly Raping NRI Ex-Colleague At 5-Star Hotel

New Delhi: The CEO of a private company has been booked for allegedly raping an NRI woman who worked at his office, reported PTI.

According to Delhi Police, the incident took place on September 14, 2023 at a five-star hotel in Chanakyapuri.

The Indian-origin American citizen lodged a complaint on Saturday night, based on which an FIR has been filed against the accused under Section 376 (rape) of IPC at Chanakyapuri police station.

The woman stated in her complaint that she was working as assistant general manager at the company where the accused was CEO. She further she that the man was known to her uncle and helped her in getting the job.

With investigation underway, the accused could be arrested soon.
