The CEO of a Canadian casino company was asked to resign after it came to light that he and his wife posed as workers of a new motel to get early access to COVID-19 vaccine.
Great Canadian Gaming Corp’s Rod Baker and his wife Ekaterina travelled to a remote town in northern Canada to be administered the Moderna jab.
Baker has served as CEO of the company — valued at $2 billion that’s being bought by Apollo Global Management Inc — since 2011.
“Great Canadian’s board of directors has no tolerance for actions that run counter to the company’s objectives and values,” a spokesman of the company said.
