Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is likely to appoint the chairpersons of different corporations and boards functioning under it very soon.
This was stated by state BJP President Manmohan Samal on Sunday. Once the ongoing membership drive launched by BJP is completed steps will be initiated for appointment of chairpersons of various corporations and boards, he said.
Samal said preference will be given to appoint suitable and deserving persons with proper experience to these posts.
Stating that the BJP government in the state has completed 100 days in office, the state party chief said the promises made on the day of the oath-taking ceremony have already been met during the period.
The membership drive of BJP has reached its last phase and once the process is complete suitable people will be selected for these posts, he added.
