Odisha is under the grip of an intense heat wave condition. Temperatures are hovering between 40-46 degree Celsius in major towns across the state, especially in western Odisha. The highest temperature recorded so far in this season was 46.5 Celsius in Titlagarh on May 24.
Several cities across India are also registering life-threatening day time temperatures for the last couple of days.
