Sundargarh: Police on Tuesday recovered A half-charred body of a minor girl from a house in Subdega area under Talsara police limits of Odisha’s Sundargarh district.
According to police sources, the deceased, who was a native of Mayabahal village under Sabadega block, had been living in the house with a married man, identified as Srikant Pradhan of Tungaripada, for the last six months. She was reportedly four months pregnant. Srikant had been absconding since Monday after her death.
It is being suspected that the girl died on Sunday night. Her live-in partner is the prime suspect in the case.
