Charred Remains Of Woman Found Inside House In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped Unit-9 here after charred body of a woman was found inside her house.

The woman was identified as Chitralekha Patra.

She was reportedly alone in the house as her husband Niranjan Patra had gone for a morning walk at the time of the incident. He found his wife’s half-burnt body on returning.

Saheed Nagar police seized the body and sent it for postmortem.

It is still not clear whether the woman was murdered or committed suicide. Police have detained Niranjan for questioning.
