Charred Head Recovered From NH 16 In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: A charred head of an unidentified person was recovered from NH 16 near in Khantapada in Odisha’s Balasore.

Commuters spotted the half-burnt head and alerted the police which rushed to the spot and conducted an inquiry.

The incident sparked fear among locals who suspected it to be a case of sorcery or murder.

Khantapada police along with a forensic team seized the head and sent it for examination.

Meanwhile, a case was registered in this connection and investigation has begun, the police said.
