Bargarh: The clerk of Community Health Centre at Katapali in Bargarh district was caught red-handed for taking bribe on Thursday.
The clerk, Manoj Kumar Swain, had reportedly demanded money from one Sarbeswar Bisi of Subarnapur district for issuing death certificate of his relative.
Bisi alerted the Sambalpur division of Vigilance, following which a trap was laid and Swain was caught red-handed.
He has been charged with demanding and accepting the bribe from Bisi. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
