New Delhi: All the 32 airports closed across the country during the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan will be reopened. A fresh Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) regarding the same has been issued. Reports claimed that the process of resumption of services were underway. All 25 air routes have been reopened.

A statement issued by Airports Authority of India issued a press statement on Monday stating that the airports are available for civil aircraft operations with immediate effect. It also advised passengers to check flight status directly with the airlines.

Earlier, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and other aviation regulators issued several NOTAMs temporarily suspending civil flight operations at 32 airports across the border region. The flights were suspended due to operational reasons. The order was in effect from May 9 until 05:29 on May 15, 2025.
