Notably, the results of these streams were announced on June 9 last year. This year too, the results were scheduled to be announced in the first week of June, but were delayed due to cyclone Fani.

Following this delay, the School and Mass Education Department on Thursday had extended the deadline for admission into Plus II streams by five days. The last date to apply for admission is June 26 instead of June 21. The first cut-off list will be announced on July 2 while regular classes will commence from July 29, the notification said.
