They were identified as Santosh Sethi, Banoj Nayak (27), Prashanta Kumar Behera (29), Sanjay Gouda (38) and Ayusman Mohapatra (23).
“Among those arrested, Santosh Sethi is the main accused. Banoj and Prashanta attacked the councillor with sword, while Sanjay and Ayusman assisted them. All of them were nabbed on the basis of CCTV footage,” Ganjam SP Ashish Kumar Singh informed at a press conference here on Tuesday.
