Bhubaneswar: In order to promote ‘Chhena Poda’ (baked sweet cheese), Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) celebrated “Chhena Poda Dibasa” at Paryatan Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, OTDC chairman stressed on the importance of cuisine which has immensely contributed towards development of tourism in Odisha. “Culinary tourism in Odisha is on the rise and we must take pride in promoting the local cuisines of the state which will help in developing the image of ‘Brand Odisha’ in the global arena,” he said.
Director, Tourism Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, additional secretary Balamukunda Bhuyan, additional secretary Ananta Narayan Singh Laguri, joint secretary Ellora Bharati Jena, joint secretary Raj Kishore Palei, OSD Tourism Ansuman Rath and other senior officials of the department and OTDC were present on the occasion.
