Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials on Thursday conducted simultaneous searches at eight places linked to Chief Civil Supplies Officer Prashanta Kumar Gantayat on allegations of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The simultaneous raids are being conducted by 8 DSPs, 5 Inspectors, and other staff of Odisha Vigilance on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, at the following eight places in Bhubaneswar and Ganjam districts.
1. One single storeyed building located over plot No. 1485 under village Pandara, Bhubaneswar.
2. One triple storeyed building located over plot No. 1484 under village Pandara, Bhubaneswar.
3. An apartment located at village Bhabanipur, Berhampur-II of Neelachal Heights.
4. One double storeyed building (VIM-192) located at Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
5. An Apartment at Neelachal City Canal Road, Badagada, Laxmi Sagar, Bhubaneswar.
6. Office chamber of Sri Gantayat located in the Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Deptt. of Odisha.
7. His parental house located at Co-operative Colony, 1st Lane, Berhampur, PS- Baidyanathpur, Dist- Ganjam .
8. His residential Govt. quarter No. S-50 located at municipality colony Unit-III, Bhubaneswar.
