Bhadrak: Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra along with secretary (5T) to chief minister VK Pandian took stock of the progress of development projects under implementation in Dhamara Port and Baba Akhandamani shrine in Aradi of Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Friday.
On arriving at Dhamara helipad, they went to the port and held a high-level meeting with district collector Siddheswar Baliram Bondar and CEO of Dhamara Port. They discussed the land acquisition process for industrial park and expansion of the port.
They also discussed the progress of different projects related to road expansion, doubling of train tracks, construction of river bridges, LNG terminal in Dhamara and airstrip at Balimela.
From the port, Mahapatra and Pandian went to have darshan at Akhanda Mani shrine. There, they held discussion with the collector and servitors of the shrine regarding development of the surrounding areas of the shrine. The first phase of the work would be completed in two months, Mahapatra told media persons.
