Child Labourer Rescued From ‘Hell’ Factory In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A 12-year-old boy was allegedly beaten blue and black  by the owner of a noodles factory, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

On being informed, a Childline team went to the Aditya Nagar near Botanda in Sundarpada area and rescued the minor boy on Sunday.

The victim with multiple injury marks on his body was later taken to the Airfield police station, said the members of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).

A native of Jharkhand, he was engaged in the factory as a child labourer.

Police have registered a case against the owner following a complaint by the CWC.
