Bhubaneswar: The children of Madhurmayee Ashram in Odisha capital had fun and frolic on their day out on the occasion of Children’s Day on Monday.
The inmates of the children’s home were taken to Utkal Kanika Galleria Mall’s gaming zone in Jharpada of Bhubaneswar by Udra Charitable Trust under its “Tare Zameen Par” programme. The children had a good time as they played in the gaming zone and ate their favourite food from Pizza Hut and Domino’s Pizza.
During the event, consultant of Udra Charitable Trust and Mo College Abhijan chairman Akash Dasnayak said, “Happiness grows from sharing happiness around.”
Besides Dasnayak, Soumendra Priyadarshi, Utkal Galleria director Purnima Vaid, Madhurmayee Ashram superintendent Niraja Laxmi Mahapatra, cine artist Poonam Mishra, Trust secretary Subhrajyoti Dasnayak, vice-chairman Dr Surjya Prakash Shiv Narayan Choudhury and members were also present at the event.
It may be noted that Udra Charitable Trust has been involved in various works to spread smile on the faces of less fortunate children and people in the society.
