Chitra Arumugam Lone Odisha IAS Officer To Get Addl Secy Rank In Central Govt; 3 Others Fail To Make The Cut

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Three senior Odisha cadre IAS officers failed to make it to the Additional Secretary rank of the Union government, empanelment for which was notified on Wednesday.

Industries Secretary Hemant Sharma, Revenue Secretary Bishnupada Sethi and Chief Electoral Officer Sushil Lohani did not figure among the 42 IAS officers whose names were approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet for empanelment to hold Additional Secretary level posts, according to an information note.

Odisha cadre IAS officer Chitra Arumugam figured in the list.

No one from Odisha cadre featured among 12 senior IAS officers empanelled for secretary level posts.
