Choudwar: The Commissionerate Police on Thursday raided the Choudwar Circle Jail premises in Cuttack district after a video of a gang war on the premises went viral on social media.
Sources said Cuttack DCP Akhileswar Singh, accompanied by inspectors in-charge of six police station and six platoons of armed police force, raided the jail in the morning.
Till reports last came in, the DCP was in a meeting with the jail wardens and superintendent. Besides, search operations are going inside the jail to gather evidence of the gang war.
