Choudwar MLA Souvic Biswal’s House Looted In Cuttack

Cuttack: Some unidentified miscreants looted a laptop and a mobile phone from the house of MLA Souvic Biswal at Mahanadi Vihar in the city on Saturday.

According to sources, the Choudwar legislator, who stays with his father and former MLA Pravat Ranjan Biswal and other family members, came to know about the theft on Sunday morning. In fact, it was his sister who noticed that both laptop and the mobile phone were missing.

On being informed by the MLA’s family about the theft, Chauliaganj police went to their house and started investigation.

From preliminary investigation, police suspected that as construction work was going on in the MLA’s house, the miscreants might have taken advantage of it to enter his room in the first floor and stolen the gadgets.
