Bhubaneswar: Residents of Bhubaneswar celebrated Christmas with great
zeal and enthusiasm on Monday.
People from all religion came together to celebrate the birthday of
Jesus Christ.
Hundreds of followers gathered at St. Vincent’s Pro Cathedral Church
located at Unit-III here to celebrate the festival.
According to father Prasan Kumar Pradhan, the celebration began since
morning with holy mass prayer at around 8 am. Later, cakes and
pastries were distributed among people on this occasion.
“We eagerly wait for this occasion every year to offer special prayers
to the Lord and welcome him to the earth, and seek blessings his for
prosperity.” says Rojalin, a student.
The Union Church at Unit-IV also witnessed a large number of visitors
