Rourkela: Christmas turned tragic for a college girl in the city as she was attacked and looted by a miscreant on Saturday.
According to sources, the girl arrived in the city from Bhubaneswar to celebrate Christmas with her family this morning. After alighting from the bus, she was going towards her house on Ring Road when an unidentified miscreant attacked her with a knife.
The miscreant looted the girl’s mobile phone and cash after injuring her with the knife. Later, the locals rushed her to a local hospital and informed the police.
Sector 3 police arrived at the spot and started investigation.
