CHSE Modifies Odisha Plus II Exam Dates For Key Subjects; Check Changes



Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) of Odisha on Tuesday announced some important modifications in the schedule for the Plus II examination 2026.

As per the revised timetable, the examination scheduled for March 11, 2026 (Wednesday) has now been shifted to March 23, 2026 (Monday). All mother tongue papers, except Odia language, across Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, including Hindi (H), Bengali (B), Telugu (T), Urdu (U), Sanskrit (S), and Alternative English (AE), will now be held on March 23 instead of March 11. All papers will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on the revised date.

Similarly, the exam earlier scheduled for March 21, 2026 (Saturday) has

been rescheduled to March 25, 2026 (Wednesday). This shift will affect students appearing for subjects such as Logic (LOG) in the Arts stream, Accountancy (ACT) in Commerce, and all Vocational Trade Subject Paper-IV examinations. Vocational subject exam will follow their respective mark-based timings, either 10 am to 12 noon (40 marks) or 10 am to 12.30 pm (50 marks).

The CHSE made it clear that all other dates and details of the Annual HS Examination 2026 remain unchanged from the original schedule.

The Council has requested all educational institutions, district administrations, universities, and examination centres to take note of the changes and ensure wide dissemination of the revised schedule. Instructions have also been issued to print and electronic media, NIC, the SAMS portal, and all concerned authorities to update their official platforms at the earliest.

Educational institutions have been directed to display the updated timetable prominently on their notice boards and websites so that students preparing for the 2026 board examinations do not face any confusion.
