Paradip: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable was arrested on Saturday for allegedly raping the minor daughter of his colleague.
The accused, identified as M Kandaswami, a native of Tamil Nadu and posted as a head constable at IOCL.
According to sources, he used to take the four and half years girl to his quarters at IOCL CISF Township under Abayachandapur police limits in Paradip on the pretext of giving her a chocolate and rape her.
The matter came to light two days back when the minor girl narrated the ordeal to her mother.
The constable was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl’s parents at Abhayachandapur Police Station on Friday. The girl and the accused were later sent for medical examination, the sources added.
