City Dwellers In The Grip Of .FEST Frenzy

He sang songs some of his successful hits like ‘Madari’, ‘Baina’ and ‘Pinjra’ and many more.

Another highlight was the launch of BhuFeSto– International Storytelling Festival, which kicked off to a packed audience with hundreds of people attending every session at all the three venues, Indira Gandhi Park, Kharavela Park and Buddha Jayanti Park.

The sign language storytelling session at Indira Gandhi Park witnessed 200 deaf children enjoying the session hosted by Nita Gopalakrishnan and Deepa Kiran. Other children were also sensitised to the issue and introduced to the basics of sign language. This was followed by a session hosted by French puppeteer, Sabrina Arusam. Well known television personality, Usasi Mishra also held a storytelling in Odia, which delighted the audience.

Kharavela Park echoed with young voices. Visitors to the park couldn’t resist the fun and joined in to hear the storytellers too. This session ended with a musical note performed by Deevyam, Asit and Faisal.
