Bhubaneswar: Four eminent personalities of Odisha have found place in the 100 most powerful Indians list by the Indian Express, one of the leading national dailies in the country.
While Supreme Court Chief Justice Dipak Mishra is number 3 in the list, chief minister Naveen Patnaik and BJP leader and Union Petroleum and Natural Gas minister Dharmendra Pradhan are in the 30th and 32nd position.
Besides, PK Mishra, additional Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister is in the 44th position.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Amit Shah are number 1 and 2 in the list, RSS sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Union Home minister Rajnath Singh, Union Finance minister Arun Jaitley, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani are fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth in the list.
Other eminent Indians figured in the list are Congress president Rahul Gandhi (11), captain of Indian cricket team Virat Kohli (29), Co-founder, Patanjali Ayurved Limited Baba Ramdev (28), Bahujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati (14), Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav (15), RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav (17), External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj (21), Nationalist Congress Party, President Sharad Pawar (25) etc.
