Bhubaneswar: Chief Justice of India (CJI) N V Ramana will be on a two-day visit to Odisha from Friday, sources said.
According to an official notification, he will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport here at 7.55 pm. After a night halt at Hotel Mayfair, he will leave for the darshan of the Lords at Jagannath Temple in Puri for darshan on Saturday morning.
He will be attending other programmes later in the day before leaving for Delhi at 6.40 pm.
Before taking oath as the 48th CJI, he had visited Puri town in 2019 and 2020 to pay obeisance to the sibling deities.
He had last visited Pilgrim Town with his wife on January 25, 2020, before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
