Bhubaneswar: Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana arrived in Puri on Friday evening on his two-day visit to Odisha.
As scheduled, the CJI came in a flight from New Delhi and landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport, here in the evening. From the airport, he straight went to Puri on road. He was welcomed by Puri collector Samarth Verma, secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian and other high officials there.
The CJI will stay at Hotel Mayfair overnight and visit Jagannath Temple on Saturday morning to have darshan of the deities. After having darshan, he will go to Cuttack where he will inaugurate the new building of Odisha State Legal Services Authority (OSLSA).
He will also visit the digitisation centre of the Orissa High Court, Odisha Judicial Academy and new building of the High Court.
From Cuttack, CJI Ramana will return to Bhubaneswar from where he will leave for New Delhi on Saturday evening.
