Sambalpur: Odisha’s under-23 boys ended their CK Nayudu Trophy campaign with a resounding innings-and-18-run win over Haryana at the Veer Surendra Sai Stadium here on Monday.
Having bowled out Haryana for 276, Odisha amassed 614, powered by centuries from Sujal Singh (156) and Shreyansh Bhardwaj (121), and fifties by Aashirwad Swain (82), Om Munde (67) and Saideep Mohapatra (65).
Trailing by 338 runs, Ha
ryana managed to put up 320 to suffer an innings defeat. Tufayl Ahmed and Saideep Mohapatra bagged three wickets each.
Odisha finished fourth in Elite Group A with 60 points. Maharashtra and Karnataka occupied the top two places, and Tamil Nadu were third.
