Paradip: A minor boy went missing after he allegedly jumped into a at Paradip in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district on Wednesday.
According to preliminary information, the boy allegedly jumped into the river at Atharabanki after leaving his clothes and mobile phone on the bridge.
Some labourers who were working at the bridge saw him jump. They informed the police.
The boy, identified as Trilochan Mansingh, had appeared at the Class 10 board examination, sources said.
Police on reaching the spot seized the clothes and mobile phone and requisitioned an ODRAF team.
The ODRAF team on reaching the spot has launched a search and rescue operation. However, the boy was yet to be traced.
