Class 10 Student Dies During Matric Exam In Odisha

Koraput: A Class 10 student suddenly died soon after falling unconscious while appearing for the matric examination in Odisha’s Koraput district onThursday.

The incident reportedly took place at an examination centre in Damanjodi area of the district.

The deceased student was identified as Kuna Pujari, a Class 10 student of Malusanta Government High School, Damanjodi.

Sources said the boy was appearing for the examination at the centre at Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Nalco township of Damanjodi when he suddenly fell unconscious.

He was immediately rushed to Nalco hospital by the school authorities in an ambulance. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival, they said.

On being informed, a team of police personnel rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.

While the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he was suffering from some ailment. Probe is underway into the incident.
