Baripada: A Class I student was reportedly mauled to death by stray dogs at Balisutura village under Jashipur block of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Monday.
The deceased boy was identified as Rinku Maharana. While he was on his way to Rahanga Upper Primary school this morning, 10-12 stray dogs attacked him. He sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.
Police later recovered the body and sent it to Karanjia hospital for postmortem.
