Class X Boy Goes Missing As He Slips Into Waterfall In Odisha’s Kandhamal

Phulbani: A Class X student has reportedly gone missing after falling into a waterfall in Gochhapada area of Odisha’s Kandhamal district and efforts are on to trace him.

The missing student has been identified as Rakhal Behera (15) of Nakdis village under Katingia panchayat of the district. He is a Class X student in Ararsh Vidyhalaya, sources said.

As per information, Rakhal had gone to Urmagarh waterfall along with his friends on Sunday afternoon. He accidentally slipped into the waterfall from a rock and went missing.

The family members of the boy launched a search operation after getting information from Rakhal’s friends. The fire services personnel later launched a search operation after being informed about the incident. Efforts are on to trace the missing boy.
